friends

what a day. i brought a script for pain pills to Walgreens to be filled yesterday. then got an email saying they couldn't fill it because of the insurance. so this company had already had a list of all my meds and approved them and that is why i switched to this company. but tey wouldn't approve it now, they think(although they know nothing about me) that it is too many pain pills per month. had my Dr. office petition them and they still refused. so it was a mess. i got the pills by using A COUPON THAT YOU CAN GET ONLINE FROM " goodrx.com."with their coupon i saved 83% of the full price for the pills and got it filled with no problem. you just print the coupon and give them the dr's prescription. someone told me that apparently they are trying to be more restrictive of prescriptions for pain meds, namely opiates which mine are. the problem is illegal cartels and the Chinese sneaking them across the border and then they are sold everywhere, but sometimes they are laced with things that can kill you. they should spend their time and energies going after those people and people that abuse the pills and not the ones that follow the rules and have legitimate pain. my mom signed up for the same drug company as i did, so i need to contact them and make sure she will be able to get her pills without any problems. i wish i hadn't changed companies. i'm going to try to get rid of this contract and get back with the one i used last year. what a pain in the arse!!!!!!

every year he gets my list of meds and compares them to all companies and then i pick the one that6 gives me the best deal. this company approved and gave the price for these pills, but now changed their minds because of the new rules for the drug problem in the states.

very busy day. was trying to leave for food pantry but my van was dead. took mom's van and had problems with the ramp. went to 2 stores to stock up o a few things before all the snow which we may not get now. when i got home i couldn't get the ramp down.so mom called Doug and he came and got me out of the van and got it closed again.so i will try to get both vans figured out tomorrow. but i forgot to go to the hospital to get the blood test i was supposed to get yesterday. needless to say i will have to find a way to get there and get the test done. coukld be the door opener needs a new battery, but i will deal with that tomorrow

questionable

things are still a mess. the motor club came and my battery was totally dead, but somehow he got it started. the battery is only a year old so he thinks i should get a replacement. i think it is something in the autostart timer that screwed it up , but it seems to be working right now. let it run 1 1/2 hours. replaced the battery in mom's control and the guy that worked on my car got the rubber trim around the door back on so the door would close but i have to take it to the guy that works on mom's van handicap stuff to have him check the door. don't want to get stuck in there again. Doug may not be available to rescue me again.

wonder

have to take mom's van to be fixed Friday. then ne will drop me off at a store to wait because he doesn't have much heat in his shop. it is supposed to get really cold the next several days. it's 1c now and dropping to -10 overnight, then -5 tomorrow. very nippy. definitely not jogging with Abby. sunday will be a high of -10. can't imagine what the wind chill will be. not looking forward to this.
