Tickets to go on sale

Postby julia_teasy_hague » Thu Dec 22, 2005 7:31 pm

The G4 are very pleased to let you all know that tickets for “Amanda Tapping a weekend with her fans – the Return “ (AT2) to be held on the weekend of 17th – 19th November 2006 will go on sale on Tuesday 27th December 2005 at 5.00 pm GMT. We know a lot of you are away over the Christmas weekend and don’t want to make you sit in front of your PCs refreshing the website (as some of you have told us you are!).

Tickets will be on sale through the registration page. Please make sure you have your credit or debit card ready as you will be transferred to the World Pay site straight after completing the registration form.

Weekend tickets will be 145 UK Pounds (including VAT) and limited to around 300 tickets. There is a 4 UK pounds non refundable booking fee per ticket. Like October, this price includes your photo session and two autographs from Amanda. Cocktail party tickets will be 80 UK pounds (including VAT) and includes a hot fork buffet dinner.

Please note cocktail party tickets or “Charmed Passes” as we are calling them are only available to full weekend ticket holders aged 16 or older and are limited to just 90 people.

Can we take this opportunity to wish you a very happy festive season and to thank you wholeheartedly for all your support over the past (few!) years.

yaaaay :D lucky that I remembered to put some money in the bank the other day otherwise i wouldnt have been able to get the tickets until Jan

a few questions...
how quickly do you expect the 90 cocktail party tickets to go?

is it possible to buy a weekend ticket now, and then purchase a cocktail party one later on?

and will it work the same as the last event in that if you get a ticket now and then a friend decides to join you later, they can be seated next to you, but youll just be pushed a bit further back the hall?

Argh! That's the one day over the Xmas/NY period I won't be at home and at my computer! Will have to get mine on the following day or see if I can get access to a computer somewhere. Have the money [hurrah for Christmas gifts of money] so need to get the tkt straight away before I spend it :D

Thanks for letting us know and all the best to the G4 and their families for the festive season.

Hi Simon,

We expect the cocktail party to sell out fast. The last one had a waiting list so long that we had to close it. It is very popular.

Yes, it will work the same as last time. If you get a ticket now and a friend wishes to join you later, they can be seated next to you but you will indeed be pushed a bit further back in the hall.

Thank you so much for letting us know when the tickets are going on sale!
I'd also become one of those people who was checking my 'puter 20 times a day and also am going away for Christmas, so had visions of me rushing off to internet cafes every few hours to check - and annoying the heck out of my family! Letting us know now means we can prepare ahead and relax and enjoy Christmas - so thank you!
Once again, you Gabit gals have thought of everything! :notworthy:
Have a great Christmas everyone!

not sure if this might be "off topic" (so, sorry if it is) but it does kind of relate to tickets going on sale...
just wanted to share my excitement that i have arrived at the place in bath where i'm spending christmas (to be near my youngest sister who has come over from south africa to work in a pub here to earn some money) and i've figured out how to get online with my 'puter, using t-mobile "hotspots" so i'm grinning happily to myself that i'll be able to log on when it's the zero hour :D
t-mobile will prolly charge me a dime and a half for the pleasure but i just don't care ;)
happy christmas everyone!

Will be on standby promptly, on Tuesday evening,to book/pay for those w/e Passes for myself and Hubs.:D

I'd have loved to try for CT Party tickets too,but as the dates are in-term,and the kids are going to family again for the Event w/e,we won't be able to get to the venue till probably mid evening. No worries, though.C'est la vie !

(*crosses fingers for your servers and b'width,Tuesday ,No1_sonuk !*:))

Merry Christmas to everyone, and I hope it'll be a fab one for you all.

HELP!
I keep getting that I am ordering 7 tickets in total even though I haven't filled out any of the "group" bookings section!
How do I only buy 1 ticket and 1 cocktail party pass???
Victoria <----------- had problems last time too because of being silly :(
