you're welcome. hope you had a good long weekend at the caravan. almost forgot, i took Abby to my old vet and he did a culture and sensitivity on the skin on the bottom of her chin becauase it just won't heal and the holistic vet is ru n ning out of ideas. so she has new medicine to apply to all the areas that are affected by her allergies. and there is a sort of newer med that they have had good results with for allergic problems. it is an injection and has lasting results for 2-3 months. but it is expensive. it's about $120 (£94.53) per shot. after he gets the culture results i'll decide if i want to give her that. i need to research it for side effects first.

well i pay $165 every 3 months for her Apoquel and she won't be taking that if she gets the shot instead, so it will actually be a little less money every three months. and i won't have to pay for all the medications that i put on her allergy sores 3 times a day. he called me today and they found the infection is a form of Staph, but it can be treated with a lot of different antibiotics. so he gave me a script for one and i got a spray for her toes that also has an antibiotic in it. i will probably get that injection for the allergies, but i'll wait until i see the holistic vet tuesday. hr has to order it anyway. hr doesn't keep it there because it has a short shelf life.

she likes getting the antibiotic because i stick it in a piece of a hot dog. just got the date for my nephew's wedding. Nov. 16th. it is in a big catholic church in downtown Chicago. that means a fortune for parking. and the reception is in a place called the ARMOR HOUSE. it's some big fancy place near Chicago. i don't do fancy. i don't have a fancy bone in my body. i don't want to go!!

i know and i have to drive mom. i don't like that i have to taKE HER VAN ON THE EXPRESSWAYS INTO CHICAGO. i don't trust her vaN. i'll have to make sure i get it in and checked. i know she hasn't had her oil changed for a longtime and it makes a noise the guy said is a belt and i want the brakes checked. it's old and rusting out. not looking forward to this. i'll be whining about it until it's over!! my nephew is bringing his girlfriend here sunday to meet us. she better like my dog or else. we are dog people, all of us.

Bfrian brought her over last night to meet us. she seems like a nice person. she likes dogs. they didn't stay long she is a buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue or Macy's or some other big expensive clothing store. have to get work done on mom's van before this event because i don't like to go more then 50mph with it. it's rusting out and needs a lot of things fixed before driving it that far.
