He thinks it’s excess acid in her tummy and an infection, got antibiotics for 16 days (tablets) and liquid for 6 days

glad you're able to get the meds into her. Abby is down from 27 pills a day to 14 now. she is getting a little better about the small ones as long as she sees treats in my other hand. did he do any blood tests to rule out kidney problems?

took Abby to the beauty parlor today, so she looks all pretty and soft. don't know how long that will last once she starts rolling in the dirt.

Quiz someone asks questions and you answer them it could be music, general knowledge, you don’t know what a quiz is?

He does a quiz at the pub he works at and Paul’s family go to it, it was fun while it lasted, but now it’s back to normality with everyone back at work on the 4th

things aren't going so well here. the place where a bunch of protestors took over a few blocks of the capital city was finally broken up today. lots of arrests and several dead people. now there is a group trying todo the same thing in New York city, but the police are fighting it. the one in Seattle, they just let these people take over. who knows where else this would happen. some think it could happen in Chicago. so we'll see what happens. so many police are resigning and taking early retirements. and they cancelled a new class of several thousand future police . some places have taken like a billion dollars out of the police budget, that is very bad. defunding police is a very stupid thing. we need the police more now that ever.

well, i don't plan on going anywhere near Chicago at all. haven't been in the city since my nephew's wedding a year ago and i didn't want to go to that. nope no where near there. i'll just stay home, if i have enough Starbucks. but go farther from the city to get that. i'll stay home where it's air conditioned. i can't remember if i told you, my brother bought mom a new (used) handicap accessible van. its 5 years old and looks really nice. it would have cost $2000 to repair the gas tank and there are other things wrong with it and it's really rusty. so this is really nice except i have to put the ramp up and down by hand from my chair or walker. i'm not really trilled about that but we'll manage. the guy that works on our vans did some stuff on it and put in the floor lock so her chair locks in. tomorrow the auto junk yard will come and tow the old one away. it was a 2000 so pretty old. so mom will be mobile again. i'll just take her out for a drive in a day or so because she really shouldn't go anywhere since she is 92 and high risk. but it will be nice to get away from the house and see other scenery for a little while. she goes around the block, but that's about it in her chair. they take the old one away tomorrow so i can park in the driveway again. i've been parking on the street at night and i have to call the police every night to tell them because there is no parking on streets after 2am. so then i won't get a ticket. i haven't driven this new one yet.

they towed the old van away tonight. i drove the new one aROUND THE BLOCK. it just feels different. don't like the seat belt. have to figure how to work the stereo and CD player now. mom will have to practice getting in and out - how to adjust her legs. we'll have to get used to it.
