i think you mean midgies, not midgets which are really short people. yup you will need it. mosquitos are just here all summer, they don't come from anywhere else. wish they would stay away!!!

today was great. no sun, not much wind and below 26. i finally got the ground broken along our curved front walk and all the roots aND WEEDS PULLED OUT. just need to add soil and mushroom compost and its ready to plant. but that won't be till probably tuesday. friday we go out with my sister so i can't play in the dirt all day. sat. is mom's party and it will be hot, 36 and thunderstorms. then sunday will be 32-33. i will be wilted. won't go outside except maybe to a store. not doing any work in that heat. they actually issued a heat warning until late sunday. then hopefully a double header ball game if there is no rain. but they are forecasting PM thunder storms again. then 24 on tuesday.

it was 36 today and muggy. they came to put a coating on our driveway today. i watched them work in the heat, just dripping sweat. i was hoping the ball games would be cancelled, but they played. they were short 2 players. one came after it started but they were still short. they did pretty good but lost. there was a down pour towards the end of the game so the referee called it. i was soaked by the time i got my scooter into my van. had planned to stop at a store on the way home, but i was literally dripping.
