It’s time consuming visiting people in hospital, there isn’t enough hours in the day to do everything

just heard that she is home now but still in a lot of pain. so i'm sure she is keeping him busy. says she has to get her abdomen drained, so its related to her problems from the alcohol abuse. doesn't sound that good.

apparently she wants to go back to work, so she will need an OK from her doctors. with her being off and him taking time off to help her out they are getting a little behind on the mortgage payments. so he's going to try to get extra days at work. don't know if they will do that, because they may not want to pay him overtime.

you make monthly payments and then if you get sick or injured and can't work, they continue to pay your salary or a high percent of it. i had that thank goodness. and after they were sure that i could not return to work, they paid the attorney fees to get me on government disability for at least half of my salary and they paid the rest until i hit retirement age. it worked out pretty well for me. at least i had an income without becoming a welfare case.

rained a lot yesterday. drizzled a little today, but not much. but the ball games were cancelled because the field was too wet. kinda glad they were because it would have been hectic getting Abby home and fed after the vet appointment and then having to rush over to the games. my brain is too tired from trying to understand and remember everything she told me, doubt i could keep the score book right.

i was tired and am tired tonight. this weather is getting me down. too much rain and humidity. i want to get the planting done, but doubt i'll finish till next week sometime. tomorrow i have to make Abby's pup meatloafs and will try to get at least a little done outside. then thursday they are coming to seal coat the driveway and friday we go out top dinner with my sister and saturday is the party for mom and it is supposed to be 32 with storms in the morning. they rented a bug tent and chairs and tables, but i'm staying inside in the air conditioning. then sunday, i will be semi comatose. it will be even hotter than saturday.
