yeah, they are usually smooth ones and a lighter color. these may have been from some other country.

i already know. they turned black in spots after they were peeled. they dehydrated ok, but with some black spots.

injust had thrm on the counter until, aftyer i peeled and sliced. then i kept them in a baggie inn the fridge like always.

i read something about storing sweet potatoes and it say they should not be in the fridge, but at room temperature. didn't have them long, just 2-3 days before cutting them.

well, i had planned to make them the next day but haD SOME WEIRD INJURY TO MY OTHER HAND AND COULND'T HOLD THE POTATO WITH MY LEFT HAND. so i did it 2 days later. i've never had this happen before. they must be some foreign potatoes that are different from American potatoes. i'll never buy ones that are that bumpy on the outside again. they had to be from some country that is warm during this time of year.
