sorry i didn't play last night.i wore myself out making the dog food and then spent some time cleaning up mom. was completely worn out after that. at least the food is done for another month now. didn't clean up till today. i plan to start making the food in one or 2 of those large tinfoil pans that you can just throw away after. took me an hour to scrub out the 14 meatloaf pans i used today. anything to make it easier.

we're getting 1-3 inches (1 1/2 -7 1/2 cm). supposed to start early morning. probably just when i'm going to the food pantry. had a real problem going home from there tonight. i hit the alarm off button and the alarm would not stop going off. i pressed every button and pairings of buttons and tried unlocking it manually and could not get the car to start or stop alarming. i called the mechanics to let them know i would be towing to them. the main guy from the pantry waited for me to get things figured out. i was going to call a tow truck and his wife was going to drive me home, but i would have to be there to give the towers the keys, so decided to go home and drive mom's van back i9n the morning and then have it towed. then i remembered i would need my garage door opener to get in the house, so went to get it and the alarm stopped and the van was working again. so i drove it home and stopped by the garage where they would fix it and they said i should just not turn the alarm on until i brought it to be checked on monday. so i kept testing it and it works as long as i don't turn the alarm on. they can figure it out monday. what a pain in the bum. i was freezing while we tried to figure out what to do. if i have any problem in the morning i'll just take mom's van. very tiring day!! definitely going to bed early. hope the snow waits till i get home from the pantry tomorrow.

it works fine now. except at the pantry. i tried the auto start at home and it worked fine but there it won't work. i told Doug about it and he thinks there is some kind of magnetic interference involved. bu5t i'll see what the car guy says after he looks at it monday. the fob battery was new.

we have a problem every once in a while where our garage door openers don't work. none of them and then a few minutes later they work fine. that is interference, but not sure what it is from. the remote and system has been fine since the pantry. it's weird. i should have tried it in different areas of ther parking lot, but didn't think of that till now. no one else had any trouble and i'm sure i'm not the only one with an alarm system.

nasty

the car repair guy says he has heard of that happening. i stopped by the auto repair place today and told the main guy what happened. he doesn't work on after mRKET INSTALLED THINGS BUT HE SAID I WAS USING THE FOB WRONG. the dealer who had it installed where i got the van told me to press the left button once to lock the doors and a second time to set the alarm. well, RAY TOLD ME PRESSING IT ONCE LOCKS AND TURNS THE ALARM ON. HE PROVED IT BY HITTING IT ONCE AND THEN BUMPING UP AGAINST THE CAR WITH HIS SHOULDER ND THE ALARM WENT OFF. hitting that button a second time puts it in setting mode. so if i accidentally press something after that it will reprogram the alarm. so i've been doing it wrong since i got the van even tho that is the way they told me to use it. so i'll see how it goes.

it was not original equipment. it was put in when i bought it used. i had a manual, but left it at the dealers once when i needed a repair and forgot to take it home. i called and told them to put it aside for me, but the next time i went they had lost it.
