AT2 disco theme

Postby julia_teasy_hague » Mon Mar 20, 2006 8:15 pm

Hi everyone,

After being asked on countless occasions to decide and after much discussion, the G4 have made a decision that the AT2 Gabit Disco on the Saturday night will be themed "pink" this year. We did look at many different "themed" alternatives suggested by people both on and off our staff, but decided on this one. So.....go off and enjoy plotting and planning your attire for the evening. Gentlemen can get away with "a hint of pink", ie another colour but displaying pink in some shape or form as a part of their clothing.

Remember this is not compulsory so if you have an aversion to pink you can still hit the disco and not worry, but the summer shops should be full of "pink things" so finding something should be relatively easy - at least easier than the "orange" theme of last year.

Woohooo! I have tons of pink. In fact.. I am currently wearing a black hoodie with neon pink accents, with jeans and neon pink and black trainers, with my neon pink and black trainers! I don't even have to go shopping.

Although, on the slightly sad side, if it had been orange again, I was going to sew my own dress.

I think she's over at Gateworld at the moment. Kat and Mini are giving her a heart attack talking about AT3. If she survives that, we'll see how she copes with this!!! :p

Argh! Just when I thought I'd stroll over to our own forum to safety, what do I find, my "friends" plotting behind my back......

Is nowhere safe.............................?

And the discussions on AT3 degenerated into AT4, AT5 and beyond...I think someone even suggested a Gabit AT cruise next year..... now you can see why I stupidly thought it might be safer over here (yeah right!)

Ah, but you're forgetting that I'll have at least three, maybe four squaddie mates at my disposal- we're gonna recce the place thoroughly, so you'll get headed off at every turn!
