right now it is -10 with a wind chill of -20. we got 3-4 inches of snow. this is the arctic blast that they predicted. it is wicked cold. took Abby jogging and only lasted 10 minutes. i couldn't stand it. we didn't have time to get acclimated to the cold yet. it is supposed to be 2-3 the day of the wedding. be glad when that's over. have to get a pair of shoes.

i wish it was 5 here. we went out to dinner with my sister and her hubby and son and his girlfriend. they are used to Houston Texas weather which is warm and they can't believe how cold it is here.

i think i was there for that flood, or the remains of it. i remember the trains sent us places by bus but they got a taxi for me because of the scooter. that was fun. the driver was really friendly and pretended he was a tour guide. that was in Wales i think. i remember i was in Birmingham and the trains were late and i called and talked to you for a while. that was an interesting trip. so 2007 was my last trip across the pond. was it really that long ago?
