probably wouldn't be as long a season if it was here. we tend to get colder sooner than you and it stays colder longer.

oh, i was thinking Lucy, with the cat. ok, it's good to get a puppy that the kids can grow up and bond with. they just need to be carefully supervised and taught to respect the dog. my brother's youngest son used to walk on their dog - a dalmatiion-and had to give the dog away because he snapped at the kid. he should have never let his kid do that to the dog and they wouldn't have had to get rid of the dog. thankfully they found some nice people that wanted him. kids need to learn how to treat the dog with kindness and be gentle with them. i really liked that dog too.(more than i liked my nephew).

that's good. puppies deserve to be taught what is expected of them. they have no way of knowing by themselves unless there is an older dog to set an example. that family better learn to stop that mouthy puppy so there could be a serious problem when the dog is older. i would hate to see a dog euthanized for biting just because the owners were not responsible in teaching the puppy. and if they don't want to teach it, then they have no business ever owning a dog!!!

got home late today and fed Abby. about 1 1/2 hour later she threw up her dinner. let her out and she pooped twice, but it was normal looking. cleaned up the mess inside and she was ok until about 45 min. ago. she threw up in her crate. it was just more food. nothing odd looking and no blood. so i'm worried about my little girl. last time she threw up was 3 years ago when she threw up a large baby carrot because she didn't chew it. once that was out she was fine and now i have to cut her carrots. hopefully she will be fine later on. don't even want to give her her night time pills. she's sleeping by me now, while ui wash the mat from her crate. my poor baby.
