i've just spent 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Apple trying to get my modem and router working right so i will have wifi outside my bedroom where the computer is. i sign in on my iPad but id i leave the room i lose the wifi. the girl finally gave up because she could not get something to work. she told me to contact Arris, who makes the modem and have them figure out how to get it to work and then she will call me back to make sure it all works tomorrow afternoon. then the Arris guy was on for about 45 min. and was having trouble also. i had to reset something that would take a long time so he wants me to call back in the morning to see if it works. he gave me a case number so i wouldn't have to explain it all again. i have a pounding headache and was surprised i could get online to play. what a pain in the bum. i need some 5 year old to just come here and fix it all for me.

and another 45min with Arris and 1/2 hour with Apple. but i think i'm all set now. i hope! that stuff is very tiring to me. the Apple ones are really good tho. they have a thing called screen sharing so they can see what you see on the screen and they point to thinks with a big red arrow and then you just click on it instead of them trying to explain what to click on. makes it less painful.

well , driving home from church tonight the temperature light came on in mom's van and the temp gage was on high. we got home ok, but i don't want to drive it till its fixed. nothing was smoking or steaming and it seemed to run ok. will try to get the mechanics on the corner a block away to see if they can fix it tomorrow. she really wants to go to the saturday Easter church service. i hope that she can go, because they way things are going she may not be here next Easter, God forbid.

the guys on the corner got the van fixed before 4pm so we could go to church. i picked it up and when i got home i had trouble opening the ramp and getting my scooter out. well, the ramp was coming away from the floor of the van. just one screw holding it on. so i finally got it to work so i could get my scooter, but couldn't take her to church because its not safe to use the ramp. so i went by myself, she insisted, but i know she was disappointed and so was i. i kept thinking that this could be her last Easter since she has been not doing so well lately. very depressing. so tomorrow i'm going to the guy that used to work on our vans. he thinks he can fix it even tho its not the brand that he usually works on.

turns out the ramp is designed to work and open to the side as a door for people to enter the back of the van. there is a lever of sorts on the passenger side of the van that controls it and we never noticed that before. somehow the lever got bumped or something and caused the ramp to swing put to the side like a door. he got it hooked back. i wondered why i didn't see any screws or anything to attach the bottom of it to the floor of the van. that was weird. if i had known, she could have gone to church after all, but i didn't know about that.
