we've had 3-4 inches since last night and its still snowing. another 1-2 inches tomorrow. i shoveled the driveway to get my car out and will probably have to do it again tomorrow if i go anywhere. its cold, but a tiny bit warmer than the last few days. supposed to get warmer. -12 now and colder with the wind chill, but up to 6-8 Sat and sunday with rain. i'll try friday to get most of the decorations down outside, before the rain.

shoveled another 2-3 inches today and also cleared a path on the sidewalks. people around here don't walk on the sidewalks, they walk in the street. its weird. aren't you too far inland to get gale force winds? are you getting rain or snow with the wind?

why, does rain keep you awake? no more snow, but rain coming Sunday and monday. wow it going to be 0 tomorrow - that's like a heat wave. i called the village about the decorations deadline and she wasn't sure of the exact date but thinks its the end of February, early march. so i'm not worried about it. should get everything down before that. o may leave all the really long extension cords out till it gets warmer. they are hard to roll up when they are so cold. still didn't get to the inside tree, ran errands for mom and then was on the phone with the cable company trying to get my computer working. they are coming out friday to check all the outside lines because when they "ping" the modem it doesn't always respond. ??? i hate when that happens!!? then i talked to people about getting my bill down. so i will buy my own modem at Walmart fot $44.00 and install ntjhat and then won't have to pat $11.00 a month to rent theirs and i will get just a regular cable box for mom's bedroom tv instead of the DVR box which she never uses. that will save me another $5-6/month. i changed my "package" so i get no movie channels (which i never use) and a few other channels will not work, but the ones i use are on the list of the ones included. so that will get the bill down a little more. it had just gone up to $200/month. that's too much!!!

We pay over £100 a month on our sky package, but Ben dosent want too change or cancel anything on it, don’t know why we don’t watch all the channels, seems a waste of money to me

right just like the packages here, they include all the sport channels and i don't watch sports at all. but you have to take whatever is in the package you pick. took mom's dvr to the Comcast place and found out it isn't a DVR box. so can't save any money by trading that in. when they put it in they told me it was a dvr box and she has watched a few programs she wanted me to tape, so i'm confused. then went to Walmart to get a modem and they didn't have one there. non productive day. tonight i cleaned my bedroom in record time because the cable guy is coming tomorrow to check all the cables. now i'm pooped! i never dusted everything that fast in my life.

well i got all the dogs into the garage and the lights off the front bushes and the back fence and the porch stuff down. just have toe lights around the roof and 3 small bushes on the side and the outside tree to get down. it was sunny and windy and every now and then it woulsd just start raining hard. for maybe a minute. weird! didn't take up all the cords. it was actually a little muddy so i'll get them another time. now i'm really achy! just took my night time pills, so the paiun pills should help. hopefully i can get to bed a little early.
